Terms & Conditions
The rules for using Gradify Labs' blockchain credential platform — in plain language.
Welcome to Gradify Labs LLP. These Terms & Conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and Gradify and set out the rights and responsibilities that apply when you use our blockchain-based academic credential platform.
Please read them carefully alongside our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. They are governed by Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, and blockchain credential services (the "Service") provided by Gradify Labs LLP ("Gradify", "we", "us"), a limited liability partnership incorporated in India. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service under the supervision and verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian. If you use the Service on behalf of an institution or organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.
The Service
Gradify provides a platform to issue, manage, and verify academic and professional credentials anchored to public blockchain networks. Issuing institutions are solely responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of the underlying credential data; Gradify provides the technical means to record and verify it and does not certify the validity of any qualification itself.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes that affect you.
Accounts & Security
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or restrict accounts we reasonably believe are compromised or used in breach of these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, forged, or misleading credential information.
- Infringe any law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, or the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
- Upload malware, scrape data without permission, or misuse verification features.
- Use the Service to deceive employers, institutions, or any third party.
Blockchain & Wallets
The Service relies on public blockchain networks that we do not own or control. You acknowledge that:
- Data written on-chain is immutable and cannot be edited or deleted.
- Transactions may incur network fees and may be delayed or fail for reasons outside our control.
- You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet and private keys — we cannot recover lost keys.
Fees & Payment
Paid plans and their fees are described on our pricing page. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST) unless stated otherwise. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may revise pricing with prior notice; changes do not affect the current paid term.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Gradify Labs LLP and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant us the rights needed to operate the Service.
Disclaimers & Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gradify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. You agree to indemnify Gradify against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law — will continue to apply. Credentials already recorded on-chain remain immutable after termination.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration provision below, the courts at Udaipur, Rajasthan shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Udaipur, conducted in English.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time and will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be notified by email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
